Our new site gives Dutch importers a price from the port of loading to their door in seconds: ocean freight, on-carriage and import clearance in one figure, FOB-based. That price holds for 4 hours, and a worked quotation follows within 5 minutes. What we cannot price ourselves is the pre-carriage in your country: pickup at the supplier, export documents and handling in the port of loading. And the other way round, for Dutch exporters selling DAP: the delivery in your country. That is my question to you.

Ocean freight and on-carriage we price live: from the port of loading to the importer's door, import clearance included. Pre-carriage in your country, from the supplier's door to on board, is the block we cannot price. A local partner can. That is you.

Today, pre-carriage abroad is the one exception to the 5 minutes: we have to ask for that block by email, and the importer waits. With your rate in our site, the importer gets the full price straight away.

Today our site prices export as CFR: pickup in the Netherlands, export clearance and handling in Rotterdam, and the ocean freight to your port. When the Dutch exporter sells DAP, the last block is the delivery in your country. Same partner, same port, the other way round.

With your on-carriage rate in our site, a DAP price is as instant as an import price. Without it, the exporter waits for an email.

You know the pre-carriage and the on-carriage in your country. We bring the requests from the Netherlands and price the rest of the journey, live.

What we ask

  • Your complete pre-carriage rate per port you serve: pickup at the supplier, export documents and handling in the port of loading. At least up to the city limit; a second zone further out is welcome.
  • For Dutch exporters selling DAP: your on-carriage rate from your port, handling in the port of arrival included, to the buyer's door. Same sheet, same zones.
  • Per container: 20ft, 40ft, 40HC. LCL per w/m is welcome too.
  • One contact who replies the same working day.
  • How: Mike sends you a one-page rate sheet. Fill it in and send it back to Mike.

What you get

  • Our dedicated partner for your country: every pickup for a Dutch importer and every DAP delivery for a Dutch exporter in your country goes to you.
  • Your rate built into the price the importer sees, so the importer gets one complete price straight away.

  1. Mike sends the rate sheet.
  2. You fill in your ports, both directions.
  3. We put your rates in the site, and the first request, pickup or delivery, goes to you.

  • Does the importer see my rate?

    The importer sees one complete price. How your rate sits in it, and who invoices whom, Mike agrees with you after your yes.

  • What if the supplier is outside the city?

    The rate sheet has room for a second zone beyond the city limit. Can you not price that zone? Say so, and we ask you per shipment.

  • Who does export customs?

    That is part of pre-carriage. Put it in your rate, together with the handling in the port of loading.

  • Who does import customs on a DAP export?

    The buyer, always: clearance, duties and VAT stay with the buyer under DAP. Your rate covers the handling in the port of arrival and the delivery to the door.

  • I don't know all my export costs yet.

    Say so. Mike works it out with you, port by port.

  • My port is not in this demo.

    The demo shows 8 origins only. Your ports go on the rate sheet, and we add them to the site.
